About Us
Mar 18th, 2009 no comment »A Gardener’s Retreat Community Garden at Upper Dummerston Road was started in 2006 when teams from two local farms met at the garden to plow the field for the first time in over a decade. On that chilly day in May, the excitement was palpable. The community garden was born.
With help from Post Oil Solutions, the garden is now in its fourth year and starting to develop its own identity as a community garden.
Gardeners who would like to join are encouraged to read our guidelines and then, if interested, submit an application to the garden leadership group. For more information about applying for a garden plot, please see our Community Garden Info page.
To learn more about our community gardens, please feel free to click around this site where you’ll find pictures, stories, garden updates, tips and recipes, and lots of community garden news.
